I love the colors and that the lines intersect in the middle picture. Not very profound, I know. I would put this in my daughter’s room. She’s been learning about mixed media art pieces and would love the birds.

Hi there
What a fantastic offer, couldn’t resist adding my two cents worth!
If I won the gift certificate I would use it to buy your awesome alphabet cards in a couple of languages and another of your world map designs for my Pre-Primary classroom in Australia. I bought one for a friend’s little girl and wish I’d ordered another for school. I’m going up with my same little darlings this year into the next class and we had been following a 4R’s theme, recylcle, reuse, reduce and rethink learning journey part of last year. This will be continued as part of this year’s learning journey and I would love to make help them make the connection of showing them a real artist’s work using your recycled paper and inks style. To top that I’m an art teacher also and love surrounding myself with original and inspiring pieces of art thast speak to me aswell as my students in order to expose them to another way of communicating and expressing themselves. Keep up the fantastic designs and hope 2010 is even more inspiring and creative for you and your customers.

If I won the $250 I would absolutely have to have a copy of the World Map Poster – no question. There is a blank spot on our wall just about the girls blue art table that would be perfectly perfect.
I also posted the twitter update (@schultzparty) and I became a fan on Facebook because this is an absolutely awesome giveaway that I would LOVE to win.
Also, shared it with my friends here – http://schultzpartyoffour.blogspot.com/2009/12/children-inspire-design-is-fantastic.html
Can you tell I’m dying to win this one!?!

Hi again
Now for reasons why I am inspired and get great enjoyment from your artwork. I love the textural collage quality of your designs. I love the simple, bold and vibrant designs. They also have a retro and a bygone era feeeling about them due to your ink colours that is lovely to instill in children these days. They also remind me of one of my favourite Australian children’s author and illustrator Jeannie Baker and her collage style of illustrating.

If I won, I’d also love the world map for our playroom–our favorite room in the house. I also love the alphabet, number, and animal cards in the different languages. Your work is beautiful and inspiring. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway!

First, let me say I love your artwork! I ordered from you to decorate our nursery. You should consider that an honor, as we tried to go eco-easy and didn’t order a lot of new stuff! 😉
If I won the artwork, I would display it in my first grade classroom. We recycle and create art from our recycled materials, so this would be a great inspiration to them.
Keep up the great work and thanks for the wonderful giveaway. Best wishes for another good year in 2010.

My three year old daughter has a bird themed room..I bought a pillow of yours with the bird motif and it quickly became a comfort and decor piece! I love the organic nature of your art. Whether your room is ultra chic or comfortable traditional, any of these pieces will compliment your environment. I would be ecstatic to hang any of your pieces in my home, or turn some friends on to my wonderful find!

I was giddy to have come upon my sister’s twitter, Katie (schultzparty) with a link to your shop. I ADORE every piece & wish I could fill a room with every single one. I am an aunt of five & I always look for gifts which they can treaure for years, and perhaps passing them down to the next generations. Along with your inspirational prints being eco-friendly, I love the message of a united world & the importance of learning about other cultures & languages!
Thanks so much for the opportunity & I will keep your site bookmarked for sure for future birthday gifts ; ).

I actually own the alphabet poster! When I was looking for alphabet art to decorate our playroom, I found a lot of alphabet posters that were just letters stuck on a page, or ones that had letters and pictures, but just had one color for everything. I love your alphabet poster because it adorable, colorful graphics.

I would love to win the giveaway! What a beautiful 3 piece set of art. My husband and I have struggled for years to have a child and Finally, I am 6 months pregnant! I have been on your site through Etsy multiple times and have registered for some of your products though an on-line registry. With all the money we spent at our Fertility clinic we are left with a small budget to decorate this much awaited baby’s nursery. We would be honored and completely out of our minds if we won this art. Thanks for giving your customers like us such a grand opportunity at a dream nursery.

Oh what I could do with the $250.00 gift certificate! There is not a print I do not love on your site. My nursery theme is “nature” so I could easily go wild on your site. I would for sure buy the nature alphabet card and the numbered 1-10 nature themed cards. The walls in our nursery are somewhat catherdral so I could hang them on a string with clothes pins across the cieling. We are big on creating visual stimulation for our little one, so this would work perfect. Good luck to everyone entered, but I sure hope to win 😉

What a great giveaway! Wow… very generous! 😉 We already have your number cards and my twin babies absolutely love them! The colors and prints are so unique and lovely.
If I won, I’d totally buy the world map and probably the world language alphabet cards. And stationary!

i love this piece because of the distressed color backgrounds and my affinity to birds. I only put art that doesn’t have facial features up on my walls due to my beliefs. And so this sits so snug in my heart it just feels right to me. At osme point i was planning on getting a wall decal that had birds on a wire but felt it was over done when i saw it featured somewhere. This is way more original and beautiful.

I really love the bright colors, that is what first drew me to your artwork. After that I love the idea of mixed media, paper mixed with paint etc. I think it gives so much texture. Your art is something that would be great in our childrens room or in the playroom. Something that they can look at and enjoy and use to learn, numbers, letters, the countries etc.

If I won the $250 gift certificate I would buy the map, hands down, I love the colors and the look of the cut pieces put together. I have a friend who loves your products so I might just have to get something for her.

I think kids are given the short end of the stick, art-wise. They can appreciate so much more than shiny, primary-colored artwork! I love that you use texture and pattern and subtle colorplay to enrich children’s appreciation of art.
I would love to have something special for my son and daughter’s rooms.

I am really fond of all your work and have several prints in our home and baby’s nursery and have given many more as gifts. I would love to add some original art to our collection and appreciate the connectedness your work, in particular the way this triptych flows from one canvas to the other, integrating nature, movement and whimsy.

I could very easily spend a $250 gift certificate on your artwork! Your work is spectacular, so unique, as well as culturally and environmentally aware. I have been wanting to get the zinnia prints for a while and would love to have the world map. I am also so excited about your new animal and number cards, especially because you offer them in German, since I speak German at home with my son. I would definitely buy more prints for his playroom too.

Children fill me with hope, joy and inspiration! I am non-traditional college student and mother of three. I have always dreamed of teaching and returned to college almost twenty years after my high school graduation to complete my degree in Early Childhood Education. I am currently in my third year of attending college full time, and will begin student teaching at this time next year (YEAH!).
Honoring and celebrating differences among individuals will be at the heart of my teaching philosophy. The simplicity and beauty of your art seem to capture the same idea, and create brilliant opportunities to teach children about the world and other cultures. I would love to fill my future classroom with your beautiful art to teach and inspire my students!

If I were fortunate enough to win the gift certificate I would choose the world map poster for my future classroom. Not only is is beautiful, but I feel it conveys a sense of community and warmth among the world. I would also select the number and alphabet wall cards to hang in my classroom in English as well as at least one other language. I would also love to adorn my classroom with the number and letter posters.
I plan to teach and celebrate diversity and provide students with a respect and understanding of the world around them. I feel each of these beautiful pieces would inspire me as a teacher and provide me with tremendous teaching opportunities!

Our poor child doesn’t have a nursery yet — my goal is to finish by her first birthday in a couple of months — so the art would be a perfect way to celebrate! Love the colors, and I love the fact that you use recycled materials and that the words just barely peek through your soft colors.

I’m glad to see your new site and am glad that you had a good 2009. I purchased some of your cards at your etsy shop and framed them for my newborn son’s nursery. They look fantastic hanging next to the mobile I made for him, and everyone comments on them. I love having unique and handmade things and am striving in 2010 to live a more handmade, homemade, organic lifestyle with my new baby, and also to remember to have fun and be adventurous – if I won I would love to hang your beautiful and fun work in my living room to remind me of these things every day.

Have long been a fan of original art, particularly when buying from artists that you know, makes it even more special. Over the years, when traveling, on of my favorite things to purchase from new places is local art to bring that experience home. Would love to add items from your collection to our walls!

Right now I have some of your prints in my baby’s nursery and I have gotten a million positive comments on your work. (Posted the pics on FB). I would love to own an original piece of your art, so I can show off just how amazing your work is when not just in print form! I would either hang in on the other wall in the nursery, or in the newly painted play area of our basement. It would really make the space special!

I totally love the art you have, the colors are beautiful, the designs are fresh and vibrant. If I won the gift certificate I would buy the world map without any doubt. It’s the master piece I think…But the most important thing about your designs is the fact that it encourages people and children to be creative and show how one can reuse materials to create such amazing art! I think is one of the things that we as parents want to teach nowadays, to be creative and to care about the planet through recycling and reusing.
Thanks for the opportunity you give, and I hope this year will be great for your business and for your creativity to continue inspiring others!

Found your blog through SimplyGrove.com. Please enter me in the contest. I followed you on twitter, fanned you on facebook and have perused your lovely shops. So I’ll be honest, I don’t have children. But I LOVE your art. For me. I just love how bright and happy it is. I love bright and happy and try to surround myself with it. I constantly have to convince people that my room is really MY room and not a five-year old’s.

I adore your art – the original piece I would definitely put in our currently empty entryway. I know the beauty and color would grab our guests and invite them right in! What a wondeful welcom that would be. 🙂
The $250 gift certificate would first be spent on three different Zinnia prints for our dear friends who are expecting triplet girls this Spring after years of trying. How precious those prints would be in their nursery.
I would then get the World Map for above our desk and the Forest Friends for my own nursery.
Your artwork just makes me happy! 🙂
I’m also a new friend of yours on Facebook!

I love original art because I like to see other people’s creativity at work. When I first got married I said that nothing would enter our house that we didn’t love or that didn’t say something about the people that live there. This has lead to a lot of creating on my part and enjoying/purchasing other people’s creations whenever possible.

$250 would get a lot I think! I would definitely choose a few of the Into the Woods (or is it Forest) series (those turtles and birdies would be a must) and then I love the Zinnia prints. Oh, and the world map.

I love everything about your artwork, from the colors to the simple, whimsical designs. I also like that original artwork was actually touched and handled by a person. It’s hokey, but a part of that person spirit resides within the art.
We’d hang this in my son’s playroom, which also doubles as my art room. I like having handmade artwork around to inspire me and my toddler.
January 13, 2010 at 3:10 am
Katydid
I’ve had my eye on this a while: The World Map art canvas. I think I’d spend nearly the entire gift certificate on that. Not only would it look great in my son’s eventual “big boy” room, which I hope to decorate in a global theme, but it would totally fit the feel of the rest of our home, in case I can’t bear to let it just hang out in that room.
